Indigo Signs, an innovative custom sign company, is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to join our collaborative team in Fargo, ND. We specialize in designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing high-quality signs, and we’re excited to add a new team member who is passionate about customer service and project management.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you'll be an essential part of our sales team, ensuring smooth project management and exceptional customer service from the signed contract through project completion and invoicing. You'll work closely with our sales representatives and internal teams, facilitating communication and ensuring projects are completed on time and to our client's satisfaction.

In this role, you'll:

  • Assist sales representatives in managing projects through all phases, from signed contracts to invoicing.
  • Facilitate communication between the sales team and internal teams to ensure timely project progress.
  • Verify the accuracy of project completion and provide customers with completion photos and any required forms.
  • Confirm customer satisfaction and ensure payment approval upon project completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Collaborate on inquiries and requests from the Sales team, internal teams, and customers.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Become proficient in the use of Mothernode CRM software.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
  • Demonstrate Indigo Signs’ core values.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds
  • Proven customer service and/or sales support experience 
  • Highly motivated, self-directed individual who can work in a team or by oneself
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is helpful
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is extremely helpful
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Knowledge of sign manufacturing is a plus

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service role or similar client-facing role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test

Work Environment

  • This is a traditional in-office position. There may be an opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.
